On a half-day trip, your captain will take you to do whatever style of fishing will produce the most action while allowing the most time for fishing. We will target species both for keeping and releasing. The goal on a half day is to find action quickly. This trip is highly popular and successful about 90% of the time.

However, there are occasions when the half-day trip may not be as fruitful. In such cases, opting for a 3/4- or full-day trip would have made a significant difference, especially when we needed more time to explore further offshore. Typically, on a half-day trip, we will be heading to reefs and wrecks located approximately 15 miles offshore. However, depending on the time of year and prevailing conditions, it may be more beneficial for us to stay closer to the beach.

When you book this fishing trip, you are reserving it with the intention of catching fish within a shorter timeframe. It does not necessarily guarantee catching keeper-sized fish, although we will certainly target them. Ultimately, you are entrusting the captain to put you in the best position to catch whatever species are currently biting the most.
